The Beast

This painting is influenced by American politics. It is titled The Beast because it feels like the system is too giant and cumbersome to manage. I actually painted this during 2020 and then let a friend borrow it for a couple years, but it still rings true for me. The large shape, with blue blood and a red ribcage, looks like its collapsing. So yeah. Happy July, everybody!
